Hickety pickety my brown hen, She lays eggs for Jesus men; With tail a-cock and comb a-curl She struts three paces from the Turl. Snug nests against the Ship Street wall Cradle omelettes served in Hall, And hard beside these ancient stones Are breakfasts laid for Jones and Jones.
